What is REIKI
In our day-to-day life, we come across a lots of words and terms which we hear, read or listen and then either we forget them or simply don’t care to look into the meaning. The same has been seen with the term REIKI. Many people have heard about it, but most of them are still ignorant as to what Reiki really is. The word Reiki is a Japanese word which is formed with the combination of two separate words- Rei and Ki . Rei stands for- Universal Life Energy or Spiritual/ Higher Consciousness- and Ki stands for- Life Force. In eastern countries, such as India, Ki is often referred to as Prana . So together we may understand the term Reiki as Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy. Reiki is a system of hands-on healing and meditation which uses Universal Life Force to bring the highest and greatest good of all concerned.
